The Women Leading the Conversation
Educator, Salon Founder, and Business Bestie for Beauty Professionals
Teryn Smith
Hi, my name is Teryn. I’ve been a nail artist for over 15 years, and in 2020 I opened my own salon — a space built on community, confidence, and the belief that every beauty pro deserves to grow on their own terms. Over the years, my passion has expanded far beyond the nail table. I love coaching artists, hosting events, and bringing people together in ways that help them learn, connect, and take real action in their careers.
My work is a mix of strategy, clarity, and practical guidance. I teach pricing, boundaries, business foundations, and social media in ways that feel simple, doable, and empowering — not overwhelming. I’m all about celebrating every version of yourself along the way, because growth doesn’t happen overnight… it happens in the small, intentional steps you choose every day.
I’ve created the It’s Just Business mini guides, I run large networking events for beauty professionals, and I’m deeply passionate about helping artists visualize their goals and actually move toward them with confidence. I love watching people step into the version of themselves they’ve been avoiding — the version that’s capable, powerful, and ready.
And honestly? I’m just getting started. I’m excited to keep building these events, creating resources that make a difference, and bringing even more beauty pros together in ways that feel inspiring, supportive, and unforgettable.

For this event, you’ll want to bring a notebook and pen, and business cards if you have them (totally optional, but great for networking!). Make sure to pack a phone charger and a water bottle so you stay comfortable throughout the day.
Bring a confident, open energy — you’re about to meet some incredible artists and make real connections. You may also want your phone or camera for content, plus anything you like using to take notes.
If you’re a VIP guest, feel free to bring a few touch-up items so you’re camera-ready for your headshots.
